Waratah currently has two feed barley varieties with special adaptation to the Australian farming system.
Following is a brief description of each variety and a link to a more detailed information brochure.

urambie
Features
- dual purpose - graze with excellent feed grain grain recovery
- suited to early sowing
- true winter habit, with a cold requirement for head initiation
- excellent plant stature with good straw strength
- resistant to leaf scald, net form of net blotch and barley grass stripe rust
- a good alternative to early sown grazing wheat to avoid wheat streak mosaic virus
- protected by Plant Breeders Rights (seed produced cannot be sold/traded/bartered/gifted for propagation without authorisation).
- royalty paid on seed purchase - no end point royalty

Features
- two-row feed grain variety
- higher yield than all other approved barley varieties on acid soil (pHCaCl 4.5 to 5.5)
- suited to main season sowing
- large grain size and good straw strength
- reliable disease resistance
- protected by Plant Breeders Rights (seed produced cannot be sold/traded/bartered/gifted for propagation without authorisation).
- royalty paid on seed purchase - no end point royalty
