Waratah currently has two feed barley varieties with special adaptation to the Australian farming system.

Following is a brief description of each variety and a link to a more detailed information brochure.

dual purpose - graze with excellent feed grain grain recovery
suited to early sowing
true winter habit, with a cold requirement for head initiation
excellent plant stature with good straw strength
resistant to leaf scald, net form of net blotch and barley grass stripe rust
a good alternative to early sown grazing wheat to avoid wheat streak mosaic virus
protected by Plant Breeders Rights (seed produced cannot be sold/traded/bartered/gifted for propagation without authorisation).
